The Creche and Kindergarten Association Limited (C&K) is currently seeking an Accountant to join the evolving Finance team at our Central Office in Kedron.  Reporting into the Financial Controller, the purpose of this role is to ensure the transactional integrity of the general ledger and compliance with applicable regulations. The Accountant (Revenue) will work focus on moving data from our operating system (Kidsoft) to our accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics AX) and reconciling the revenue and debt.
 
Desired Experience Includes;
  • Qualified Accountant, CA/CPA
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to drive improvements that deliver fast and efficient processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
  • Experience in managing or mentoring a staff member will be advantageous
  • Proven experience in delivering effective financial reporting and analysis that meet business needs and demonstrate the courage to challenge the status quo
  • Working to strict deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Key Stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

Customer service / accounting officer Brisbane

This successful and stable FMCG company has been established for many years and has a reputation for quality food products and service reliability. 
 
You will join a small but dedicated team focused on ensuring the accurate & timely processing of clerical duties like reconciliation, trial balances, sales orders, accounts payable and several other administrative duties in a FMCG business while also providing excellent customer service and some sales “with a smile” over the phone. 
 
Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a clerical / admin role in a SME (small and medium enterprises) combined with some experience in a customer service role in a FMCG / supermarket environment. An outgoing personality is a must. Some other responsibilities include:
 
  • Trial balances
  • Preparing of GST reports
  • Reconciliations
  • Accounts payable / receivable
  • End of month balancing
  • Journal entries
  • Reimbursements
  • EDI enterprise
  • Use of the ERP - Dynamics AX program
 
A relevant diploma in accounting (does not need to be CPA or similar tertiary) would be highly regarded but food / supermarket industry experience is essential.
